WWE Raw experienced a big drop this week after a string of shows that topped 1.9 million viewers the past two weeks.

Monday’s episode dropped by 10% with 1,735,000 viewers on the USA Network, one of the lowest averages in Raw’s modern history. It equals the mark set on Memorial Day last month and ahead of the June 1st number of 1,728,000 viewers and May 4th figure of 1,686,000 viewers for the lowest in modern history.

In the 18-49 demo, they posted a 0.48 that represented a decrease of 9%, although Raw finished in 3rd, 6th, and 7th for the night among cable programs.

The taping of Raw was delayed last week following additional COVID-19 testing by WWE with the program taped on Saturday to run Monday. The advertising throughout the weekend only focused on the double contract signing involving Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler, Asuka, and Sasha Banks.

The first hour averaged 1,862,000 viewers, they fell 6% in the second hour to 1,751,000 and dropped another 9% in the third hour to 1,592,000 viewers. The third hour is among the lowest third hours they have ever done since expanding to that format in July 2012.

The only demographic to increase this week was females 12-34 which improved by 10.5% but fell 22% throughout the show.

The largest audience decline was with males 12-34 that dropped by 16% this week.

The third hour was a killer among most demos as the 18-49 category fell 20% in the final hour, females 18-49 dropped 24%, and both females 12-34 and adults 25-54 dropped 22% in the third hour respectively.

It was an episode of Raw that was hurt with a lack of star power without having Randy Orton, Edge, Charlotte Flair, and Kevin Owens available with several others missing as well.
