Friday Night SmackDown’s overnight figures represented a small rebound from last week’s all-time low figure on Fox.

The overnight figure lists SmackDown averaging 1,905,000 viewers, which is up 7.2% from last week’s 1,777,000 figure. Last week’s episode occurred on the Friday of 4th of July weekend while also facing heavy cable news competition with Donald Trump’s speech in front of Mt. Rushmore.

This week’s figure would still be on track to be the third-lowest of the year for SmackDown on Fox. The show saw 1,930,000 viewers in the first hour and dropped to 1,879,000 in the second hour leading toward the main event of New Day vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro for the SmackDown tag titles.

In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown was back to 0.5 after dipping to 0.4 last week. This week’s demo rating placed SmackDown first among all network programming on Friday. They did 0.6 with adults 25-54 and 0.2 with adults 18-34.

The final number will be released on Monday reflecting the entire country.
