The final scene about the in-ring career of Angel Orsini is going to be shot on August 7th.
On August 7th, the final scene of ‘Circle of Champions: the History of Women’s Pro Wrestling’ will be shot. The film is about former wrestler Angel Orsini who had to step away from pro wrestling. Angel began her career in 1996 and she wrestled in Japan, worked for the Ladies International Wrestling Federation which was ran by Fabulous Moolah, ventured into MMA and circled back into wrestling in the U.S. by way of ECW.
The film documents Angel’s journey and according to a statement from the filmmakers, it will display the importance of empowerment through sisterhood. Angel’s last documented match was in 2017.
On August 7th, the final scene is going to be shot in Torrington, Connecticut for the ‘Test of Strength’ promotion. Former multi-time WWE Women’s Champion Jazz will be a part of the final scene as she and Angel are teaming up. They are being billed as ‘ECW Originals’ as they feuded with one another during their time in the organization. Former ECW Television Champion Gary Wolf is set to manage Jazz and Angel. This event is also a part of Jazz’s farewell tour.
