JDC (Fandango) returns to WWE NXT, challenging Lexis King for Heritage Cup on 2/11

The WWE-TNA partnership brought Fandango back to NXT.

There was an in-ring segment on the 2/4 edition of WWE NXT that featured Heritage Cup Champion Lexis King. As he was speaking to the audience, he stated that he’s going to change the rules for Heritage Cup title defenses.

King said there will be no more rounds or cornermen. Going forward, it’ll be one fall to determine the winner. Then, making his return to the brand was TNA Wrestling’s J.D.C. (Fandango).

He had his ‘Fandango’ entrance video but introduced himself as J.D.C. of The System faction in TNA. He revealed that he’ll be challenging King for the Heritage Cup on 2/11.

J.D.C. was released from WWE in 2021. His last match in the company was alongside Tyler Breeze in a tag match on NXT.
