On Monday’s proceedings at the Cook County Courthouse, AJ Lee took the stand to testify in the defamation trial, involving her husband CM Punk (Phil Brooks).

The first portion of Lee’s testimony, as well as the conclusion of Punk’s testimony, took place Monday morning with notes posted on the site.

Lee’s testimony continued Monday afternoon with notes coming courtesy of Ross Berman at the courthouse on behalf of WrestleZone.

Lee described Punk’s lump as the size of a pimple in August 2013, with Punk stating it was painless at that time. By the Royal Rumble event in January 2014, she said the lump was the size of a “small fruit.” She later clarified she didn’t know the size of the lump when pressed and the fruit comparison was an estimate.

The next person to take the stand was a woman named Corrine, who is a massage therapist for Punk.

Corrine had seen Punk around 20 times for sessions, including on January 30th, 2014, which was four days after the Royal Rumble event.

She saw the lump and stated it was 3 inches in diameter and 1 inch raised on the left butt cheek. When she saw Punk next on April 24th, 2014, the lump was gone, and Punk told her it was a staph infection and he was “lucky to be alive.”

The day’s proceedings concluded with the announcement that closing arguments will occur on Tuesday and the jury will then deliberate a verdict.
