AEW Dynamite notes: Cody defeats Wardlow, Omega vs. PAC Iron Man match next week

Next week's Dynamite is the Revolution go-home show and Cody has to make it through next week without physically harming MJF in order to get his match at Revolution. Also, Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho are set to have a weigh-in, PAC and Omega are clashing in a Iron Man match and Best Friends will meet The Butcher and The Blade.

AEW: Dynamite emanated from Atlanta, Georgia on 2/19 and the main event of the show saw Cody defeat Wardlow in a Steel Cage match via pin fall. The closing sequences of the match featured Cody doing a moonsault off the top of the cage to pin Wardlow and move one step closer to facing MJF at Revolution. Next week is the Revolution go-home show and Cody can not get physical with MJF at all next week in order for the match to be made official.

Next week’s Dynamite is taking place in Independence, Missouri and it’s on that show that PAC and AEW World Tag Team Champion Kenny Omega will compete in a 30-minute Iron Man match.

During the AEW tag team battle royal to determine the #1 contender’s to the AEW World Tag Titles at Revolution, while teams were brawling on the outside, the camera panned over to former two-time ECW World Heavyweight Champion Raven who was sitting in the crowd behind the man who is in the Dark Order promos.

Jeff Cobb fell in defeat to Jon Moxley on Dynamite. Moxley will be the first guest on the AEW Unrestricted podcast which debuts on February 20th.

Also on next week’s show, there will be a weigh-in for Moxley and AEW World Champion Jericho’s match at Revolution and along with that, Best Friends (Trent & Chuck Taylor) with Orange Cassidy are taking on The Butcher and The Blade with The Bunny.
