Night one of WrestleMania 36 is just a mere several hours away from airing on the WWE Network. On today’s edition of WWE ‘The Bump’ on the company’s social media channels, it was confirmed that The Miz is no longer in the SmackDown Tag Title Ladder match at WrestleMania. He and John Morrison were scheduled to put their titles on the line against New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) and The Usos. The match is now Jimmy Uso vs. Kofi Kingston vs. John Morrison in a Ladder match for the SmackDown Tag Titles.

The story on WWE’s platform was delivered as The Miz is not able to compete following last night’s taped episode of SmackDown.
On an edition of Wrestling Observer Radio last week, Dave Meltzer stated that The Miz was sick while SmackDown was being taped at the WWE Performance Center but it’s not known if he contracted the Coronavirus or not and his symptoms are not known either. Meltzer added that The Miz being sick factored into Roman Reigns’ decision to pull out of his Universal Title match against Goldberg.
