WWE’s deal with Amway Center goes through late October, PPV set for 9/27

Greg Angel of Spectrum News 13 provided details about WWE's current deal with the Amway Center and the amount of money WWE is paying in rent.

WWE’s first show under the ‘ThunderDome’ banner in the Amway Center in Orlando took place on the SmackDown before SummerSlam. WWE has now ran three events inside of the arena and Spectrum News 13 reporter Greg Angel obtained a lease agreement between WWE and the City of Orlando and WWE’s deal with the Amway Center extends through October 31st of 2020, unless mutually agreed upon to extend past that date or shorten the time.

WWE is paying at least $200K in rent to the Amway Center and the layout is listed as followed:

* $12.5K for Sunday events
* $10K for Monday/Friday events
* $7.5K for any days WWE works inside Amway

WWE’s Payback pay-per-view will emanate from the Amway Center on August 30th and it’s noted in the contract that WWE has a pay-per-view scheduled for September 27th. WWE is coming off the heels of their SummerSlam pay-per-view and the RAW after SummerSlam show and to hear recaps of those shows, click on either of the highlighted show names.
