Stardom held its card from Osaka on Sunday highlighted by Utami Hayashashita defending the World of Stardom title and an announcement concerning Wrestle Kingdom 15.
In the main event of Osaka Dream Cinderella, reigning World of Stardom champion Utami Hayashashita pinned Moto Watanabe. It was Hayashashita’s first title defense since beating Mayu Iwatani on November 15th to become champion.
Afterward, Hayashashita expressed her desire to defend the championship when Stardom runs a show at Budokan Hall on March 3, 2021, for its tenth anniversary. Hayashashita was interrupted by Maika, who challenged the champion for the next title opportunity. Earlier in the card, Maika was part of a three-way match losing the Future of Stardom title to Saya Iida that also featured Saya Kamitani.
The card also featured a thirty-minute draw involving Wonder of Stardom champion Giulia and SWA Undisputed champion Syuri (Syuri Kondo, who last fought for the UFC in 2019).
The other significant news from the card was the announcement that Stardom will have a match on the second night of Wrestle Kingdom 5 at the Tokyo Dome. It was not stated if it the match would be broadcast or serve as a dark match as they had this past year.
On January 4th of this past year, Stardom presented a dark match with Mayu Iwatani & Arisa Hoshiki defeating Giulia & the late Hana Kimura.
Stardom has released a logo to commemorate its tenth anniversary in 2021.
