IMPACT Wrestling debut on Thursday nights on AXS TV featuring Kenny Omega wrestling led to a jump in the show’s viewership.

On a competitive night during WrestleMania Week and going against the second of NXT TakeOver, IMPACT increased 13.5 percent in viewers with 168,000 viewers while finishing with a 0.06 in the 18-49 demographic.

The show finished 115th for the day on cable, according to Showbuzz Daily.

It was IMPACT’s fourth-highest viewership figure of 2021 and equaled the February 16th episode for its best 18-49 demographic rating.

For the final four weeks on Tuesday nights, IMPACT had averaged 138,500 viewers and a 0.04 in the 18-49 demo.

The show featured Kenny Omega’s first wrestling match on the program since he began making appearances last December. In the main event, IMPACT Champion Rich Swann, Willie Mack & Eddie Edwards defeated Omega & The Good Brothers.

IMPACT announced the move to Thursdays on AXS TV right before WWE made the long-expected announcement that NXT would move to Tuesday nights, beginning next week.
