MLW has announced the latest entrants into the 40-person Battle Riot match this Saturday when they return to live events with fans.

Josef Samael, Ikuro Kwon, and Simon Gotch of CONTRA Unit have been added to the 40-person match. The winner will receive a championship match against Jacob Fatu, who is also a member of CONTRA Unit.

MLW previously noted that this Saturday’s card at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia is sold out. It is their first show in front of a live audience since March 2020. Over the course of the pandemic, the company has taped episodes of MLW Fusion from The Gilt Nightclub in Florida without fans. Earlier this year, they had a season-finale and have been re-airing old episodes of MLW Underground from the group’s first incarnation from 2002-04.

Below is the updated card for Saturday’s Battle Riot event:
*40-person Battle Riot: Alex Hammerstone, King Muertes, Mads Krugger, Ross & Marshall Von Erich, Richard Holliday, TJP, Davey Richards, Myron Reed, Calvin Tankman, Gino Medina, Arez, Aramis, King Mo, Kevin Ku, Josef Samael, Simon Gotch, Lee Moriarty, EJ Nduka, Savio Vega, Ikuro Kwon, Bu Ku Dao, Alex Kane, Gringo Loco, Zenshi, Kit Osbourne
*Caribbean Heavyweight Championship: Richard Holliday (champion) vs. King Muertes
