Stardom continued its 5* Grand Prix with two shows this weekend in Osaka where the World of Stardom champion was pinned on Sunday.
The shows on Saturday and Sunday each included four Grand Prix matches with the tournament running until the end of September.
Sunday’s main event featured this year’s Cinderalla tournament winner Saya Kamitani pinning Wonder of Stardom champion Tam Nakano. This was a rematch from the July 4th ‘Yokohama Dream Cinderella in Summer’ pay-per-view where Nakano retained the belt.
Saturday’s card was headlined by AZM pinning Syuri and gave the former High-Speed champion her first two points of the tournament. The same show saw World of Stardom champion Utami Hayashishita pin Unagi Sayaka.
After four events, the Red Stars block has a logjam of performers with two points including Giulia, Momo Watanabe, Saki Kashima, Natsupoi, Starlight Kid, Koguma, Mina Shirakawa & Mayu Iwatani. Himeka and Fukigen Death are the only ones without points.
The Blue Stars block features Utami Hayashishita, Tam Nakano, Syuri, and Unagi Sayaka on top with four points each. AZM and Maika have two points and the ones without any points include Saya Kamitani, Konami, Ruaka & Takumi Iroha.
There will be two more Grand Prix matches on Monday’s show at Kissei Culture Hall with Konami vs. Unagi Sayaka and AZM vs. Maika, which are both in the Blue Stars block.
