Suzuki-gun is reuniting in AEW.
The conclusion of the 9/8 episode of Dynamite in Cincinnati saw Ohio’s own Jon Moxley get a win over Minoru Suzuki. Suzuki was busted open during the match and received more than five stitches near his eye.
Suzuki made his AEW debut at All Out and coming off of his loss to Moxley, he will be back on Dynamite next week in Newark, New Jersey and he’ll be joined by Suzuki-gun member and former IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion Lance Archer.
The legend @suzuki_D_minoru + his protege & longtime partner #LanceArcher were both furious about preferential hometown treatment @JonMoxley received last night at #AEWDynamite! We’ll hear from Suzuki-gun NEXT WEDNESDAY on #AEWDynamite, where they’ll issue a new challenge to Mox! pic.twitter.com/vJKlMKSpGh

Archer defeated Moxley for the U.S. Heavyweight Title on night two of AEW Fyter Fest. Archer lost the title in August to Hiroshi Tanahashi at NJPW Resurgence.
Also scheduled for next week’s Dynamite is Adam Cole’s in-ring debut, an appearance from Bryan Danielson, Jade Cargill versus Leyla Hirsch along with Shawn Spears versus Darby Allin.
