Former NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is game for a return to the brand.

Throughout her time on the NXT brand, Rhea Ripley was able to capture the NXT Women’s Championship, win the first-ever women’s WarGames match and lead NXT’s women’s division into Survivor Series in 2019.

Currently, Rhea is a part of Monday Night Raw and is one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with Nikki A.S.H. The duo were drafted to Raw on night one of the 2021 WWE Draft and to promote night two, Rhea joined the Battleground Podcast. When asked about the idea of a return to NXT, Rhea said she would love to but isn’t sure she’d fit in the 2.0 version of NXT.

I would love to [go back to NXT] honestly. I miss NXT. Right now, how it is, how it’s all changed, I don’t know if I’d really fit in. When it was the metal scene and very grungy, I loved that NXT. Not saying that the one now is bad or anything but it’s definitely more for like the up and comers and everyone’s trying to make a name for themselves but, saying that, I would definitely go back in a heartbeat especially to help my girl Raquel Gonzalez. I don’t like it when she gets jumped. I got her back.

Scheduled for tonight’s Raw is the continuation of the Draft along with an appearance from Goldberg. POST Wrestling will be live following the show with a new Rewind-A-Raw.
