The reigning 24/7 Champion was not able to attend WrestleMania 37 due to COVID.

WWE’s Reginald has been a part of the company since early 2020. He first appeared on-screen in December as Carmella’s sommelier. He is currently on the Raw brand and is a two-time and current WWE 24/7 Champion.

Going into WrestleMania 37, Reginald was paired on-screen with then-WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. Reginald was present at the recent WrestleMania 38 ticket on-sale party at AT&T Stadium. He told The Dallas Morning News that he was not able to be at this year’s WrestleMania due to COVID-19.

Nah, no WrestleMania money back then. I saved up around 35 bucks, I believe, and purchased WrestleMania 21 on pay-per-view. And we had one cable TV in our house, and it was in my grandmother’s room. Saved the 35 bucks while doing the circus, and got to watch that – all-time favorite WrestleMania is that one. Later that year, got it on DVD for Christmas. Joined the company in 2020, was going to attend my first WrestleMania in Tampa last year, but I got COVID so I wasn’t a part of it. So, this is very special to me for sure. The first one I ever attend, I essentially am going to be a part of it.

There were multiple 24/7 Title changes on the 11/8 Raw that started and ended with Reginald. Drake Maverick won the title from Reginald, Akira Tozawa pinned Maverick, Raw announcer Corey Graves pinned Tozawa then Byron Saxton won the title from Graves, Maverick regained the championship and it circled back around to Reginald.
