The World Tag League and Best of the Super Juniors finals are locked in.

Coming out of today’s New Japan show in Hiroshima, the finals of the 2021 World Tag League tournament has been set. It came down to the winners of the final two matches on the card. Yujiro Takahashi and EVIL scored a win over Tetsuya Naito and SANADA to secure their spot in the final. Takahashi and EVIL used several underhanded tactics to get the win.

Headlining the show was Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI taking on the current IWGP Tag Team Champions Dangerous Tekkers (Zack Sabre Jr. & Taichi). Goto and YOSHI-HASHI got the win and on December 15th, Goto and YOSHI-HASHI will take on EVIL and Yujiro. The winners will move forward to Wrestle Kingdom 16 to challenge for the IWGP Tag Team Titles.

The Best of the Super Juniors final is Hiromu Takahashi versus YOH. That December 15th event at Ryogoku Sumo Hall is going to feature an appearance from Katsuyori Shibata. New Japan is promoting that Shibata will be making a ‘major’ announcement.
