After 'injuring' Liv Morgan on Raw, Becky Lynch accepted her challenge for a Raw Women's Title match at WWE Day 1

Liv Morgan’s challenge accepted after she’s taken out by Becky Lynch.

Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan main evented the 12/6 Monday Night Raw and Lynch used the ring rope to secure leverage for her pin and to retain the Raw Women’s Title. Lynch was confronted by Morgan on tonight’s Raw and Morgan challenged her to a match for the title at WWE Day 1.

Lynch declined and shortly after, the two began to brawl. Lynch gained the advantage on the outside and put Morgan’s arm between the ring steps and the ring post and stomped on it repeatedly. Lynch added that she accepts Morgan’s challenge if she still wants it.

With the addition of Becky Lynch versus Liv Morgan, here’s the updated lineup for WWE Day 1 on January 1st:

  • WWE Championship — Triple-Threat Match: Big E (c) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens
  • WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) (w/ Paul Heyman) vs. Brock Lesnar
  • SmackDown Tag Team Championships: The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) (c) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)
  • Edge vs. The Miz
  • Migos appearance (Quavo, Offset & Takeoff)
  • Raw Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Liv Morgan
