Rampage was taped at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and it featured matches such as Tomohiro Ishii versus Adam Cole, Jade Cargill versus Marina Shafir, Eddie Kingston versus Daniel Garcia, and more.

Match Results:

  • Adam Cole over Tomohiro Ishii
  • Lance Archer over Serpentico
  • Eddie Kingston over Daniel Garcia
  • Jade Cargill over Marina Shafir to retain the TBS Championship

The show opened hot with Ishii taking on Adam Cole in a match to qualify for the Owen Hart tournament. Here’s a shocking spoiler: the pair put on a fantastic match, even with the picture-in-picture breaks for commercials. Jay White made an appearance during the match, taking out Rocky Romero. This distracted the ref, allowing Cole to hit a low blow and The Boom for the win.

Backstage, the JAS was blocked from entering the building by security, leaving Daniel Garcia to take on Kingston alone.

Danhausen viciously assaulted some chips. This led to Hook saying, “You wanted my attention? You got it now.”

Serpentico tried to launch a preemptive attack on Lance Archer before their match, but it didn’t work. Archer defeated the snake man quickly.

Next, AEW quickly moved to Eddie Kingston and Daniel Garcia’s entrances. After a lengthy, hard-hitting match, Kingston picked up the win with a spinning back fist. After the match, Kingston picked up the microphone and took off his belt, threatening to whip Garcia. However, he said he was saving the whipping for Jericho.

Swerve and Keith Lee cut a backstage promo, where Lee was actually speechless. This let Swerve take the spotlight, saying the war isn’t over. On commentary, Starks called them a broke Kenan and Kel, which made me laugh out loud.

A brief backstage interview featuring Storm, Baker, and Hayter happened. It was uneventful, with Storm saying she’ll see them both in the tournament.

Smart Mark Sterling did most of the talking during the Mark Henry main event segment.

Jade Cargill and Marina Shafir had a decent match, but the finish felt a little awkward. The pair were engaged in a submission battle and Cargill suddenly hit Jaded, leading to her 30th win.
