Real Violence

Before the first match could start, Cesar Duran made his way out. Duran says let’s change things up around here because tag team matches are so boring. He says his renegades demand more violence, real violence, so this match is now a Mexican Death Match.

Mexican Death Match: Gangrel & Pagano vs. Los Parks (LA Park & LA Park Jr.)

Gangrel and Junior start the match, as they trade hip tosses and pin attempts. Pagano distracts Junior before all four men get in the ring and start brawling with Parks sending them out to the ring where they hit double tope suicidas as they go to commercial.

When we come back, they are all brawling on the outside. Pagano garbs a beer from a fan and smacks LA Park with it, before biting it open and stabbing Junior with it. Gangrel hands Pagano a sickle that tries to use on Junior before Daddy Park helps and takes it away from Pagano and starts digging into his forehead of Pagano. Pagano starts getting tossed around as he’s leaking blood. They head back inside where Park and Pagano start trading chops and splashes in the corners. Park hits an STO for a two count before all four men start brawling again. Junior gets put on the top rope and sends Gangrel outside with a hip toss before tagging back in his dad who starts trading blows with Pagano. Pagano hits a springboard code breaker on Park and gets a two as Park comes back with a powerslam for a two of his own. Gangrel comes in and hits Junior with an over-the-head suplex for a two, but Junior sends Gangrel to the outside where he hits a tope suicida. Park and Pagano start fighting over a chair as the referee tries to take it away and gets knocked out with a punch through the chair as a result. Pagano starts ripping on the mask of Park and grabs a stack of skewers. Pagano jumps off the top rope with the skewers, but Park takes them away and drives them into Pagano’s head and hits a DDT, followed by a spear as the referee wakes up and makes the pin.

Winners: Los Parks (LA Park & LA Park Jr.) by pinfall at 10:53

Rise of the Renegades Returns

They announce that Rise of the Renegades will return next week and Cesar Duran is working on a big card for it. This will be the third time MLW has held that event, after the ones in 2003 and 2019.

Upcoming Schedule

·       Rise of the Renegades – Next Week

·       Battle Riot IV – June 23rd in New York City

·       Never Say Never – July 18th in Chicago

nZo vs. KC Navarro

nZo gets on the mic before the match and says everybody knows he’s a certified G and you can’t teach famous. There’s nothing much left for this business to offer him but he has plenty left to offer this business. nZo starts talking about KC Navarro and Navarro asked him to watch his wrestling match when they first met, and he told him he can show him a lot more than he can tell him. Navarro kept coming to nZo’s gym and he kept beating his ass and he did the same here in MLW. He saw something in Navarro and that is ‘it’. And that ‘it’ is heart, but if Navarro wants to be a star, he has to get through him.

Navarro comes out and as the bell rings he gets knocked right away into the corner. nZo stays in control tossing Navarro around until he catches him and hits him with a fall-away slam. Navarro dodges out of the way in the corner and hits a quick top rope moonsault, a la 123 Kid, and gets the surprise victory.

Winner: KC Navarro by pinfall at 1:50

Opportunity

We see Richard Holliday and Alicia Atout in Cesar Duran’s office, where Duran calls Holliday ‘Mr. Cinematic’. Duran says he has nothing to thank Holliday for because if he didn’t intervene he would have beat the shit out of Alex Hammerstone. Duran says there will be consequences, but Holliday says that’s a big word and so is ‘opportunity’ and thinks there are a lot of opportunities here. Duran said that he was all ears as Alicia goes to close the door.

We see another video for Killer Kross.

Battle Riot IV Control Center

We get the next batch of competitors for the Battle Riot on June 23rd.

·       Bandido

·       KC Navarro

·       Samoan Swat Team (Lance Anoa’i & Juicy Finau)

·       Richard Holliday

They try to get a word with nZo backstage, but he runs off and bumps into Jacob Fatu who doesn’t look too pleased.

Flamita vs. Bandido

This is Flamita’s first match in MLW since June 2019 as the former MexaBlood partners go head-to-head. Right away they trade-off blows before running the ropes to a nice reaction from the crowd and a ‘Lucha’ chant. Flamita takes control and stomps out Bandido in the corner before working on taking off Bandido’s mask. Flamita hits a drop kick to the back of Bandido for a two-count. They fight on the outside where they trade chops against the barricade before Flamita tosses Bandido into the ring post. They go to the stage where Flamita hits a suplex on the ramp as they go to commercial.

When we come back, Flamita has on a half crab before Bandido grabs the ropes. They start trading forearms before running the ropes a bit more and Bandido sends Flamita to the outside where he hits him with a dive as the crowd is hyped for this. Flamita knocks Bandido off the apron and hits him with a tornado. They head back inside where Bandido does a one-handed press slam into a driver for a two count. Flamita sends Bandido right into the bottom rope before going to the top, teasing the crowd, before flipping them off and heading back down for a lazy cover for a two. Flamita comes back with a slingshot DDT for a two followed by a powerbomb attempt that Bandido turns into a sunset flip for a two. They go back and forth until Bandido hit’s a knee to the face, standing Spanish Fly and a jumping cutter as both men are laid out. They slowly get back up before Flamita hits a superkick and a Tiger Driver for a two. Flamita hits to the top for a moonsault but Bandido puts his feet up and hits another knee to the face followed by the 21 Plex for the pin and the win.

Winner: Bandido by pinfall at 12:13

Bandido extends the hand to Flamita after, but Flamita instead puts a middle finger in Bandido’s face before walking off.
