Jon Moxley vs. El Desperado announced for NJPW Music City Mayhem

El Desperado called out Jon Moxley and they are now set to go one-on-one at NJPW Music City Mayhem

Desperado called him out and Moxley answered the call.

Following the New Japan Road show on July 3rd, El Desperado called out Interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley in a backstage interview. New Japan pushed out the announcement that Desperado and Moxley are now scheduled to compete in a singles match.

Their match is taking place at ‘Music City Mayhem’ on July 30th which is a part of Starrcast weekend in Nashville, Tennessee.

On the 7/6 Dynamite, Moxley successfully defended the Interim AEW World Title against Brody King. At the Forbidden Door show, Desperado was in action as he teamed with Yoshinobu Kanemaru to take on Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland.
