Vice TV has confirmed a new series covering the history of the wrestling territories will premiere this fall.
‘Tales from the Territories’ is being produced by the team from ‘Dark Side of the Ring’ along with Seven Bucks Productions, which was founded by Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia.
The series will debut on Tuesday, October 4th at 10 p.m. ET.
Variety was the first to report the news of the launch and included a trailer released by Vice TV and narrated by Johnson.
Evan Husney and Jason Eisener, who were the two executive producers behind the breakout hit ‘Dark Side of the Ring’ for Vice, will serve as executive producers on the series. Johnson, Garcia, Hiram Garcia, and Brian Gewirtz will also hold executive producer credits on the series.
