Rampage began with “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry versus “All Ego” Ethan Page. Page had Matt Hardy, Isiah Kassidy, and Stokely Hathaway in his corner. All three men got involved in the match at one point one way or another.

Page instructed Matt Hardy to “go get” Jungle Boy out on the floor. As Matt approached Jungle Boy, Hook’s music hit, distracting Ego and Hardy. Jungle Boy went for the roll-up but Page was able to counter with his own pin attempt, grabbing Matt Hardy’s ponytail for leverage. Hardy batted Page’s hand away allowing Perry to reverse the pin and score the victory.

Stokely Hathaway grabbed a microphone and berated Matt Hardy for the loss being all his fault. Ethan Page got on the mic and said Matt would make it up to him by teaming with him this Wednesday to take on JungleHook. Stokely then told Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy that they are on “time out”.

After the break, Tony Schiavone was in the ring with Ortiz. Ortiz said that Eddie Kingston had fed into the mind games of The House of Black and he was about to hit a woman with a chair. Eddie came out and Ortiz called him a coward and a fake tough guy. Kingston nailed Ortiz in the stomach and then the back with a chair and stormed off.

A Darby Allin promo package aired highlighting him winning the TNT Championship from Samoa Joe as well as successful defenses against Mike Bennett, Juice Robinson, and Kushida. Allin said he still has old scores to settle, particularly with The House of Black of which Darby said he has to beat every member.

Next up, Willie Mack squared off against “The Machine” Brian Cage. The two wrestled a competitive match but Cage was able to gut out the win with his “Drill Claw” finisher. Cage will face Bryan Danielson on Dynamite on Wednesday.

Jade Cargill and Leila Grey then defeated Jaida and Jordyn Vanity in short order. After the match, a 49-0 graphic appeared on the ramp. Interesting to note here that tag team matches are confirmed to be counting towards Jade’s undefeated streak.

Prior to the main event instead of the typical Mark Henry live interview, a promo package aired showing the last few weeks of history between Action Andretti and the J.A.S.

The story of this match was if Garcia won he gets to take Sammy Guevara’s spot this coming Wednesday with Chris Jericho against Ricky Starks and Action Andretti. After a good, back-and-forth match, Daniel Garcia attempted twice to pin Andretti with a handful of tights but was undone by Andretti’s running shooting star press. Both Jericho and Sammy Guevara who were at the commentary booth were visibly shaken as Rampage went off the air.
