Lynch’s autobiography coming out next year.

In the summer of 2020, Becky Lynch teased that she was ‘writing something’ which she would later reveal to be a book.

It is going to be an autobiography and she provided an update on the book while sitting down with Katie Hannon for an interview

Lynch was talking about what she could do outside of pro wrestling and shared that went to school for acting at the Dublin Institute of Technology in Ireland and from Columbia College in Chicago. She then mentioned that her book is coming out in 2024 and while she does not have an official title for it, she threw a potential title out there.

I got my degree in acting. It’s something I’ve been doing a little bit of lately.

That’s what I did my degree in here in D.I.T. (Dublin Institute of Technology) in Rathmines and in Columbia College in Chicago and so, I’m not really good at much else other than performing so, I think I’m okay at writing. I have a book coming out next year too.

I don’t know (what I’ll call my book). Probably ‘The Man, Not Your Average Girl’.

November 2018 was when Lynch’s ‘The Man’ moniker latched on to her after she took a punch to the face from Nia Jax going into that year’s Survivor Series.

Lynch was concussed but was able to get herself to the top of a flight of stairs in the arena for a final pose. She described it as the greatest accident that ever happened to her. Lynch recapped how it played out. After being hit, she only remembers bits and pieces of the aftermath.

We had just gotten off a European tour. We were flown into Kansas City last minute. The show had already started. It was pure chaos but they had this angle at the end where I was gonna come out and then the rest of the SmackDown girls were gonna jump the Raw girls in the ring and then get into this big brawl and then I’d end up beating up Ronda Rousey and we would leave through the crowd and so when we came and we started, I turned one of the girls around and her name was Nia Jax and she was a larger lady, probably doubled my weight, and she turned around and just punched me, full force in the face and it was very much an accident but it was the greatest accident that ever happened to me because even though I was knocked out on my feet a little bit, I remember taking that punch and going, ‘Oh no’ and then it all goes black, with little parts interspersed here and there and so, I kind of got up and I remembered what I was supposed to do but my face was just covered in blood and I rolled out because I had to get a chair and I remember seeing trainers coming up to me and somebody giving me a towel and wiping my face and throwing it back at them and then grabbing the chair and then I don’t really remember. But I do have images of me standing on top of — because I hit all my marks and then I ended up standing on top of the arena with all the crowd going crazy and me acting like a badass with my face covered in blood… and it ended up being one of those, for a lack of a better term, an iconic image in wrestling, that I have absolutely no recollection of really. I remember walking out through the doors and meeting the security being like, ‘Where am I?’

Following WrestleMania 38, both Becky Lynch and current Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair were part of the build-up to the Katie Taylor versus Amanda Serrano boxing fight.

Lynch shared that she attempted to get fellow Irishwoman Katie Taylor out to a WWE event but added that she deserved to rest after the fight she had.

I was with her (Katie Taylor), the day before her fight with Amanda (Serrano) and we did a hype thing and I introduced her and I mean, what an icon, she’s a legend, an absolute legend and then so humble and I was trying to get her out to an event the next week but I think after that match, she deserved a little bit of a rest.

On night one of WrestleMania 39, Lynch is tagging with WWE Hall of Famers Trish Stratus and Lita to take on Damage CTRL (Bayley, IYO SKY & Dakota Kai).
