AAA is in conversations with ‘major’ American stars about Triplemanía.

Coming up on July 15th is the second leg of AAA’s 2023 Triplemanía event(s). The first of three shows took place in April and the third event is scheduled for August 12th in Mexico City.

AAA Director, Dorian Roldán, guest appeared on The Business of the Business podcast and discussed all things related to the company. When it comes to the August 12th Triplemanía, Dorian stated that they’re in talks with ‘major’ American stars about appearing on the show. He added that AAA is in conversations with influencers and stars in Mexico as well.

We’re also having discussions with a couple of big, major stars, American, both of them to know if they can be also part of our third leg of Triplemanía Mexico City and we are also — you know that we were trying to work with influencers? We also are having a couple of discussions with big influencers and major stars here in Mexico.

One of AAA’s marquee talents is the reigning Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo. Roldán shared that there was an attempt to set up a match between Vikingo and Will Ospreay but it was ‘impossible’ to put together at the time. He said they’ll try again.

We were trying to put a match between Hijo del Vikingo versus Will Ospreay. That’s what we were trying to put together. But, it was impossible and we will try to do it in another stage.

It is official that in July, Hijo del Vikingo is taking on IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega at Triplemanía.
