Amanda Nunes not against joining WWE if the contract is amazing

If the contract is right, Amanda Nunes does not see why not.

Coming up on Saturday, June 10th, main eventing UFC 289 is Women’s Featherweight and Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes squaring off against Irene Aldana. Aldana was slotted in after Julianna Peña had to pull due to broken ribs.

Going into the title fight, Nunes spoke to New York Post and was asked about the idea of joining WWE after her career in MMA comes to an end. She stated that if the contract is right, she is not against that being an option.

It depends on the contract, you know? (If she’d go to WWE)

If the contract is amazing, why not? What I wanted to do in MMA, I did already — even more than I thought in my head when I went through my whole career. I became a double champion. I wanted only one — I had two … I’m so happy, and whatever comes after I’m done with UFC, we’ll see. For sure, you guys will see me around anyways.

Following UFC 289, POST Wrestling’s Eric Marcotte will have a report of the event on the site.
