It was a long and winding road but we’re finally at the end of the round robin stage of this year’s G1! Tetsuya Naito and Zack Sabre Jr. both finished with 10 points in the D Block. Naito beat Zack earlier in the tournament so, with the head-to-head tie-breaker Naito finishes as the D Block winner and Zack finishes as runner-up. This confirms the first round matches for the elimination round as follows:

- Kazuchika Okada (B Block Winner) vs. Zack Sabre Jr. (D Block Runner-Up)
