The second week of IMPACT 1000 featured the Knockouts Tag Match, the reveal of the ‘Feast or Fired’ briefcases, and a title match set for next week.

RESULTS:
*Ultimate X Match: Alan Angels over Speedball Mike Bailey, Rich Swann, Samuray del Sol, Zachary Wentz & Ace Austin
*Jake Something over Dirty Dango
*Eric Young, Scott D’Amore & America’s Most Wanted over Kenny King, Sheldon Jean, Kon & Deaner
*Josh Alexander over Trey Miguel
*Trinity, Gail Kim, Awesome Kong, Mickie James & Jordynne Grace over Deonna Purrazzo, Gisele Shaw, Savannah Evans, Angelina Love & Tasha Steelz

In the main event, Awesome Kong scored the win for her team by pinning Gisele Shaw after a spinning back fist and Implant Buster.

Kong teamed with Gail Kim, Mickie James, Jordynne Grace, and Knockouts Champion Trinity defeating Shaw, Deonna Purrazzo, Savannah Evans, Tasha Steelz, and Angelina Love in the main event of the show.

The contents of the briefcases were revealed after last week’s ‘Feast or Fired’ match in a segment hosted by SiriusXM’s Dave LaGreca.

Moose will receive a World Title shot, Chris Bey secured a tag title shot for ABC, and Crazzy Steve will receive a Digital Media title shot. That meant Yuya Uemura is fired and will be given a ‘goodbye ceremony’ on next week’s show that is being taped in Memphis this weekend.

IMPACT 1000 included an Ultimate X Match where Alan Angels won the 50th edition of the specialty match after hitting Speedball Mike Bailey in the groin and climbing the rope to secure the “X” and land on the mat in possession of it. The match included Rich Swann, Samuray del Sol, Zachary Wentz, and Ace Austin.

Angels announced he is cashing in his X Division title shot against Chris Sabin on next week’s edition of IMPACT.

After a series of run-ins, a singles match between Eric Young and Kenny King turned into an eight-man tag. Young teamed with Scott D’Amore, Chris Harris & James Harris to beat King, Sheldon Jean, Kon & Deaner after Young hit a piledriver on Jean for the victory.

It was confirmed on the show that Bound for Glory will include Alex Shelley defending the IMPACT Championship against Josh Alexander, and Speedball Mike Bailey will be the opponent of Will Ospreay. The pay-per-view takes place on October 21 from Cicero Stadium in Chicago.

Announced for next week:
*X Division Championship: Chris Sabin © vs. Alan Angels
*Memphis Street Fight: Tommy Dreamer & Heath vs. Kenny King & Sheldon Jean
*Speedball Mike Bailey vs. Jonathan Gresham
*Yuya Uemura’s goodbye ceremony
