John Cena has marked Thanksgiving by expressing his gratitude for all who helped him grow, with a special mention for Randy Orton.

Taking to social media, Cena said:

Cannot celebrate this day without being thankful for all the people who helped and grew along the way. Truly thankful for my time in OVW and [Randy Orton] during those years. Take a look back at our final match in OVW! Happy Thanksgiving!

The post was accompanied by a clip of Cena and Orton’s last match at WWE’s former developmental territory, along with some commentary from Cena himself.

Randy Orton is set to return to action for the first time since May 2022 when he participates in the men’s War Games match in Saturday’s WWE Survivor Series.

John Cena has just undergone surgeries on both his arms.
