Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson appears on Day 1 WWE Raw, asks crowd if he should sit at the ‘head of the table’

Johnson returns to WWE.

To kick of WWE programming in 2024, the ‘Day 1’ edition of Monday Night Raw emanated from San Diego, California. Going into the show, it was teased that a former WWE Champion would be appearing.

When it came time for that segment, former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal came out and then ran down the crowd and spoke about the division in the USA. Jinder would eventually be interrupted by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

After some back and forth between the two, it turned physical when Mahal went after Johnson. The multi-time WWE Champion gained control and hit the People’s Elbow onto Mahal. As Johnson was wrapping up with the crowd, he said he was going to get something to eat in San Diego.

He asked the crowd if he should eat in a booth, at the bar or at the head of the table. In 2023, Johnson revealed that there was a plan in place for him and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns to go one-on-one at WrestleMania 39 but plans did not come to fruition. He added that he’s open for WrestleMania 40.
