Williams says it’s a ‘wait and see’ game when it comes to him appearing on more main roster shows.

Going into the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, the WWE SmackDown go-home edition of the program emanated from Miami, Florida.

One of the matches on the bill was a rematch between Carmelo Hayes and Austin Theory. Theory came out on top and afterwards, him and Grayson Waller jumped Hayes.

Making the save was Trick Williams, who received a warm welcome from those in attendance in Miami. While on the red carpet for Bianca Belair and Montez Ford’s new reality series, Lucha Libre Online asked Williams if he’ll be on more main roster shows.

Aye, the ‘Whoop that Trick’ movement has begun so, we gotta wait and see (if I’ll be on the main roster moving forward). You never know… NXT Championship, Dusty Classic on Tuesday. Me and my boy Melo getting to work. We got a lot of good things in store.

Williams and Hayes are scheduled to compete in a Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic semifinal match on the 1/30 NXT. If they come out victorious, they’ll be heading to the finals at Vengeance Day. On top of that, Williams is going to be facing Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship in the main event of the PLE.
