Damian Priest cashes in Money in the Bank contract on Drew McIntyre, becomes WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania XL

Two new champions crowned.

The first match of WrestleMania XL night two was Seth Rollins defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre. Rollins went into the match ‘banged up’ from headlining night one of WrestleMania where him and Cody Rhodes fell in defeat to The Rock and Roman Reigns

During the match, McIntyre went as far as sending out a tweet while on the outside of the ring. Despite Rollins’ will to continue kicking out, McIntyre hit him with one final ‘Claymore’ which put him down for a three count and McIntyre became champion.

As McIntyre was celebrating, he went over to CM Punk who was on commentary. McIntyre continuously taunted Punk and told him that if he ever got back into the ring, he’d end Punk’s career.

McIntyre was stood up on the commentary table and Punk swept his feet from underneath him. Punk started beating on McIntyre and as he had the new champion on the ground, The Judgment Day’s theme hit and running down was Mr. Money in the Bank Damian Priest.

Punk, with a smile on his face, stepped aside and allowed Priest to throw McIntyre in the ring to cash in and become World Champion.
