NJPW Best of the Super Juniors: night 6 results and latest standings

Ten matches took place earlier on Sunday as the 2024 NJPW Best of the Super Juniors tournament continued.

The main event at the Nagoya Congress Center saw Block A leader Blake Christian suffer his first loss of the tournament at the hands of El Desperado.

Christian still tops his block with 8 points and a 4-1 record.

In the B Block, KUSHIDA moved into pole position with a win over Taiji Ishimori.

Elsewhere on the card, Dragon Dia went out of contention with a fifth loss, this time to DOUKI.

TJP got into the win column for the first time in the tournament, defeating HAYATA.

The opening match saw Francesco Akira selling a knee injury from Saturday’s action. Drilla Moloney submitted the Italian with a knee bar, and then kept on attacking the leg after the bell.

The tournament continues on Tuesday in Hyogo with five A Block matches.
