Sami Zayn retained his WWE Intercontinental Championship at Money in the Bank 2024 against Bron Breakker.

The match began with Breakker, who has a new entrance theme, outpowering Zayn time and again.

However, fan-favorite Zayn then used his experience and ring IQ to get the better of the younger man for a short spell.

Breakker would soon pick up the pace again with a huge clothesline followed by a belly-to-belly suplex.

The first near-fall of the match came when Zayn nailed a top-rope tornado DDT on Breakker.

Another two-count came when Zayn countered a spear attempt into a Blue Thunder Bomb. A Frankensteiner then led to another near-fall on Zayn.

As Breakker looked to close in on victory, Zayn countered and managed to nail the Helluva Kick to retain.

Breakker looked great in this match.
