In what was billed as the co-main event of NOAH The New Year 2025, Ulka Sasaki went one-on-one with WWE United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.
It was at NOAH The New Year 2023 that Nakamura made his return to the promotion to face The Great Muta (Keiji Muto) on his road to retirement. He picked up the victory in that match and in his return to Pro Wrestling NOAH, he secured another victory.
Sasaki had Nakamura in a triangle choke and while the referee was down, Nakamura sprayed mist into the eyes of Sasaki.
He followed that up by hitting two Kinshasa’s to secure the victory. Next up on the docket for Nakamura is Friday Night SmackDown on 1/3 where he’ll be facing Andrade in singles competition.
