Update 2:30 p.m. ET: Steph De Lander has provided another update on Katch: “Allie is out of surgery & on the road to recovery,” she said on Monday afternoon. “She will be staying overnight at the hospital tonight. Thank you for the support as always; she has a long road ahead and every dollar counts.”

The road to recovery starts now for Allie Katch.

Katch suffered a nasty injury at Sunday’s The People vs. GCW show in the Hammerstein Ballroom, forcing her to exit a GCW Championship #1 Contenders match against Effy after just four-and-a-half minutes.

The injury emerged due to Katch landing awkwardly after attempting a tope suidica, crashing into the guardrail and hurting her right leg in the process.

Katch was brought to the hospital on Sunday night, where Steph De Lander was also present and able to provide updates.

“Hey guys, in the hospital with @AllieKATCH & she has broken her leg in two places,” De Lander wrote just a couple of hours after GCW’s show wrapped up. “Currently awaiting to speak to an ortho surgeon on the next steps. I’ve just set up a GoFundMe.”

The GoFundMe has a goal of $50,000 to help cover medical bills and Katch’s loss of income due to the injury. More than $27,000 has already been raised as of Monday afternoon.

De Lander provided another update on Monday afternoon, showing an X-ray of the injury and stating that Katch has underwent surgery.

Katch has been a fixture in GCW programming for years, working a total of 34 matches for the promotion in 2024 alone. The leg injury is a massive setback for her, one that will make her miss more than a full month of in-ring action for the first time since 2020.
