Seated ringside for Bayley’s match against Nia Jax was Roxanne Perez. After their brawl on NXT, Perez showed up to SmackDown for Bayley’s title match against the current WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. During the match against Jax, Bayley and Perez got into a shouting match and Perez tried to slap her, but Bayley countered and struck Perez. Perez tried to jump the barricade, but security escorted her from ringside. Jax went on to pick up the win over Bayley.
There was an interview segment with CM Punk that was centered around his competition in the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble. Punk stated that Hulk Hogan could even be thrown into the mix and he’d throw his ‘dusty ass’ over the top rope and ‘kill Hulkamania once and for all.’
Judgment Day has a rematch for the World Tag Team Championships on 1/27. Finn Bálor will not be able to team with J.D. McDonagh against The Viking Raiders (Ivar & Erik) because of the Street Fight he was in with Damian Priest on 1/13. Dominik Mysterio offered to team with JD.
New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) ran into WWE Hall of Famer J.B.L. (John Bradshaw Layfield) backstage. He was scheduled to be the special guest commentator for Kingston’s match against Rey Mysterio. New Day wanted JBL to big talk them on commentary but during that backstage segment, he began complimenting Big E. JBL was involved in the TNA World Championship match at TNA Genesis on 1/19. While on commentary for the Raw match, Layfield leaned in favor of New Day. Mysterio ended up besting Kingston but he was attacked afterwards by Woods. LWO’s Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde attempted to make the save, but Wilde was taken out by Woods and Kingston.
Appearing on the 1/27 Raw are Logan Paul and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
Penta is now 2-0 in WWE after scoring a win over Pete Dunne. During their match, Michael Cole mentioned that the two talents wrestled before for Revolution Pro Wrestling which was in 2017.
Seth Rollins picked up a victory over Drew McIntyre in the main event. McIntyre attacked him post-match, but Sami Zayn made the save. McIntyre grabbed a hold of Rollins and placed him in the corner and as Zayn was going to ‘Helluva Kick’ McIntyre, McIntyre side-stepped it and Zayn kicked Rollins.
In attendance for Raw in Dallas, Texas were Professional Bull Riders Mason Taylor and Austin Richardson in addition to P.B.R. announcer Matt West.
