Omos heads back to WWE after handing over Pro Wrestling NOAH Tag Title

Omos declared on Saturday that he is returning to WWE.

During a Pro Wrestling NOAH show on Saturday in Osaka, the 30-year-old relinquished his half of the GHC Tag Team Championships.

He has been wrestling in Japan since January 1st, when he and Jack Morris teamed up to win the titles from Naomichi Marufuji & Takashi Sugiura.

On Saturday, Omos and Morris successfully defended against Kaito Kiyomiya & Galeno. After the match, Omos took to the mic.

He told the crowd that he was returning to WWE and was “bestowing” his championship belt to Team 2000X colleague Daga.

He also promised to return to NOAH, but did not know when.

Omos went undefeated in seven matches during his month with the Japanese promotion, including winning a two-on-one handicap match against Tadasuke & Yuto Kikuchi in just over one minute.

He now returns to WWE, where he has not wrestled a televised match since April 5th, 2024, when he took part in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal during the WrestleMania weekend edition of SmackDown.
