Celso Reyes Daza (Ciclón Ramírez) passes away

News of the luchador’s passing was shared on Facebook.

A Facebook post from the official page of Ciclón Ramírez, real name Celso Reyes Daza, announced that the luchador passed away at the age of 64. The post reads:

We ask for understanding at this time for his loved ones, the good Celso rests in peace ?.

Ramírez spent over 40 years in the wrestling business. He got his start in 1984 and competed for CMLL for eight consecutive years. 

He took several hiatuses throughout his career but began competing on a regular basis again in 2017. 

His last documented match was in August 2024 at an independent show in Mexico. Daza’s funeral service was held at Gayosso in Mexico City.
