Stratus was happy to assist the next generation.

Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada was the host of WWE’s 2025 Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. Toronto’s own Trish Stratus was in action on the night as she teamed with WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton to defeat Nia Jax and Candice LeRae.

Stratus spoke about her comeback while on the red carpet for the Queen of the Ring movie. She was interviewed by Sir Wilkins of The Jobber Tear’s Network and said she is grateful for the opportunity at the PLE.

Great (Stratus responded when asked how she’s feeling physically after Elimination Chamber). What an opportunity. I went back, I wrestled with Charlotte (Flair), I’ve wrestled with Becky Lynch. To go back and now touch the next generations, I’m so grateful. I mean, who could have thought we could have done something like that? And then, I got to wrestle for the first time live in front of my children. That was so special. We (myself & Lita) wrestled so long ago and my children were not even a thought in my brain. So to be able to go back and have that moment with them in my hometown was so special.

Stratus’ partner at the event, Tiffany Stratton, has a title defense on the horizon against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41.
