The fourth-annual edition of AEW: Beach Break will take place in Chicago next month.

The NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, a northwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois, will play host to the yearly AEW TV special when they present Dynamite on May 14.

While it’s been known for weeks that AEW was set to present a live TV taping on that date, the promotion just confirmed Monday that the show will be a Beach Break edition of their Wednesday night program.

AEW has presented Beach Break as a TV special since 2021, previously hosting the shows also in Cleveland and Jacksonville.

Last year’s special, which was in Chicago, included an AEW International Championship bout between Will Ospreay and Daniel Garcia in the Dynamite main event.

The NOW Arena is not a new stop for AEW. The venue holds an important spot in the heart of the promotion, being where the first-ever All In card took place in 2018 and having continued to be a pay-per-view venue for them ever since.

AEW’s last stop in the arena was last September for All Out 2024. Illinois has received two events since then, including a trip to the Wintrust Arena in Chicago last November.

Roughly 2,200 tickets have been sold for AEW’s upcoming trip to the NOW Arena, per a post made by WrestleTix on Monday morning. The promotion has another 600 seats available currently on Ticketmaster.
