Meiko Satomura wraps her in-ring career.
Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling hosted Meiko Satomura’s final match on April 29th. Satomura put a bow on her 30-year in-ring career.
The advertised main event saw Manami and Satomura defeat Aja Kong and Chihiro Hashimoto. There was also a five-on-two Handicap match that saw Satomura and Kong face Chihiro Hashimoto, Mika Iwata, Senka Akatsuki, Takumi Iroha and YUNA. That resulted in a time limit draw.
There were video messages sent in from WWE’s Kairi Sane, IYO SKY, Asuka and Shinsuke Nakamura. There was also a video message from NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi.
Satomura is a co-owner of Sendai Girls’. Her final match comes just several weeks after the anniversary of her in-ring debut.
