Former X-Division Champion Ace Austin has reportedly parted ways with TNA Wrestling after multiple years and title reigns under their banner.
Former TNA President Scott D’Amore noted in his latest column for Uncrowned that Austin had an “amicable” split with the promotion. PWInsider later also reported that the parties briefly discussed the possibility of a new deal, but ended up not reaching an agreement.
28-year-old Austin has been a constant name in TNA since 2019. He has been a notable presence as a singles talent, but also put together three separate tag title runs alongside Chris Bey as ABC. The duo also participated in the NJPW Super Junior Tag League tour back in 2022.
Austin held the X-Division title three times during his run with the promotion. He attempted a fourth reign with the title earlier this year, but failed to dethrone Moose at Genesis in January.
Overall, Austin’s time with TNA included over 200 in-ring appearances, including two dozen matches on pay-per-view/special events.
Austin’s most recent TNA appearance was a loss to Mustafa Ali earlier this month at a TV taping. The matchup aired on Thursday night’s episode of Impact.
