Chelsea Green suffered an injury last weekend, although it looks like that won’t stop her from being on TV in the coming weeks.
As many had suspected, Green’s nose was broken during her match against Zelina Vega at Saturday Night’s Main Event last weekend, Fightful Select reported on Thursday. Green became visibly busted up in the closing sequence of their WWE Women’s United States Championship match, sporting a bloody nose as she left the ring.
Green suffered a “clean break” on her nose, per the report. However, the injury isn’t expected to take her off TV. The report states that, while Green will have to wear a protective face mask due to her nose issue, she’s currently expected to remain on SmackDown programming.
Green has been an important part of SmackDown since late 2024, when she became the inaugural women’s U.S. champ. She has appeared for in-ring action on 11 episodes of SmackDown this year, including feuds with Vega and Michin.
