AEW returned to its regular night for a special edition of Collision as it aired its 100th episode.
The July 5 taped edition averaged 310,000 viewers and 133,000 viewers (0.10) in the 18-49 demographic on TNT.
The show did improve on the previous episode, which aired on Thursday, June 26, and averaged 285,000 viewers and 0.08 in the demo.
However, it was the show’s lowest audience in its regular night slot since March 1 (against WWE’s Elimination Chamber event) and down 27 percent from the last Saturday airing on June 21.
Collision ranked third among cable originals on Saturday behind ESPN’s Savannah Bananas game (837,000 viewers and 0.22 in the demo) and Food Network’s Diners Drive-Ins & Dives (855,000 and 0.22). Collision outranked a Summer Pro Basketball League game between the Utah Jazz and Philadelphia 76ers, and a WNBA game between the L.A. Sparks and Indiana Fever on NBA TV.
The 100th episode included a main event between Kyle Fletcher and Daniel Garcia and was taped three nights earlier in Ontario, California.
This week’s edition of Collision airs live on Thursday night on TNT and returns to Saturday on July 19.
