NXT returned with a live broadcast on Tuesday and saw growth in its audience leading into the Great American Bash.

The July 8 episode averaged 695,000 viewers and 215,000 (0.16) in the 18-49 demographic on CW.

The show’s audience was up by eleven percent from last week’s taped episode, and an increase of seven percent in the core demographic to represent a two-week high.

With many networks in reruns, NXT topped all of ABC’s network programming on Tuesday, and outranked NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney on CBS, The Snake on Fox, and ESPN’s coverage of the New York Liberty vs. Las Vegas Aces.

NXT ranked eighth among all programming in the 18-49 demographic on Tuesday night.

The show ended with a Women’s Summit to promote the Evolution event, featuring appearances by Stephanie Vaquer, Natalya, Maxxine, Giulia, Zelina Vega, and Ivy Nile from the main roster.
