Former WWE talent Real1 (Enzo Amore) is teasing a debut appearance in TNA Wrestling.

A vignette aired on Thursday’s episode of TNA Impact, where Real1 appeared in a promo “sponsored” by Fourth Rope, the upstart promotion run by rapper Westside Gunn.

Real1, who has been Fourth Rope’s Flyweight Champion since April, when he won the title in a Wrestlemania weekend battle royal, teased opening a “forbidden door” between the two companies.

Addressing TNA’s July 20 Slammiversary pay-per-view in Elmont, New York, he said that the promotion must “check in” with him before visiting.

Real1 has been all around the U.S. indies since his WWE departure in 2018, when he was released from the promotion after failing to inform them that he was under investigation for sexual assault, allegations he has “unequivocally” denied. The investigation was dropped later that year by the Phoenix Police Department due to insufficient evidence.

Real1 has made stops at GCW, MLW, AAA, OVW and many other spots, but has yet to step foot in a TNA ring.

The two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion last wrestled in late June, when he appeared as part of Fourth Rope’s event during Paris Fashion Week.
