Future tag team partners Randy Orton and Jelly Roll will appear on late-night TV program “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” this week.
Just a few weeks before they team up to face the team of Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre at WWE’s Summerslam card, Orton and Jelly Roll are expected to be part of Wednesday’s show, which will air on ABC.
Jelly Roll, primarily known for his career as a recording artist, will be a guest host for the show on Wednesday, and will also return for Thursday. Orton is billed as a special guest. The program is also expected to feature Jeremy Renner as a guest and Joey Bada$$ as a musical guest, per a listing on the show’s site.
It was confirmed during last weekend’s Saturday Night’s Main Event that Jelly Roll will make his in-ring debut in a tag bout alongside Orton during Summerslam weekend on August 2 and 3.
The matchup was confirmed following a post-match brawl on Saturday, where McIntyre laid out the artist with a Claymore Kick. While Orton was apologetic about putting Jelly Roll in harm’s way, the artist insisted that he wanted his revenge in a match against the heel duo.
