AEW Dynamite followed All In Texas with a drop among its younger audience, airing against the ESPY Awards.

The July 16 episode at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago averaged 588,000 viewers and 207,000 viewers (0.15) in the 18-49 demographic on TBS.

These figures do not include streaming viewership on Max.

It was Dynamite’s lowest audience since July 2, its smallest audience in the 18-49 demographic since June 25, and the fourth lowest demo figure of the year.

The show ranked second among cable programs in prime time behind Gutfeld on Fox News, which had a large audience of 2,777,000 viewers and 0.15 in the demo. Dynamite also ranked ninth among all television programs in prime time in the demo.

It aired against the ESPY Awards, which averaged 2,179,000 viewers and 0.35 in the 18-49 demographic on ABC.

The show did see a loss in viewership from last week, with an eight percent drop and a three percent decrease in the 18-49 demographics.

In the 18-49 demo, it was females who were the reason for the decrease, dropping from 66,000 viewers last week to 53,000, and not enough to offset a small five percent increase with males from the last episode.

The younger audience saw a greater decline as the 18-34 demographic dropped by thirty percent from 80,000 to 56,000 viewers, including females being cut in half from last week.

However, the 35-54 demographic was up by fourteen percent compared with last week.
