A storyline for this year’s WWE Summerslam event has made its way to late-night TV.
Jelly Roll and Randy Orton got into it with Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul on Wednesday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” trading blows just a few weeks before the duos are expected to face off in a tag match as part of the Summerslam Premium Live Event (PLE) in New Jersey.
What was originally meant to be an interview between guest host Jelly Roll and Orton was crashed by McIntyre, who showed up to insult them both. Orton didn’t appreciate his spotlight getting interrupted by the Scottish talent, kicking off a brawl with them. The two fought their way backstage, leaving Jelly Roll by himself.
After his guest (and future tag partner) went off-screen, Jelly Roll planned to bring the show to a commercial break. But then, suddenly, Paul appeared.
Paul attempted to bully Jelly Roll on his own show, slapping him in the face and beginning to deface the set. But Jelly Roll wasn’t having it, and responded by chokeslamming Paul through his desk.

Famous recording artist Jelly Roll will make his in-ring debut when he teams with Orton next month against Paul and McIntyre. The matchup was made last week at Saturday Night’s Main Event after the singer got involved in a post-match brawl between the WWE stars.
Jelly Roll told The Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday afternoon that he has spent weeks preparing for his debut, frequently training inside the WWE Performance Center. During his Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance, Orton credited Jelly Roll for the effort he has put in ahead of his match.
