A Ring of Honor Women’s World Championship match has been announced for next week’s edition of AEW Collision.

Athena will defend against Alex Windsor after a brief confrontation on the July 19 show.

The match was made following Windsor’s successful AEW debut, a victory over Taya Valkyrie. Post-match, Athena appeared on a balcony to dismiss Windsor’s accomplishment, leading to the title match being confirmed for the following week.

Earlier in the show, the Death Riders attacked guest commentator Colt Cabana, bloodying him before hanging him with a chain in a message to Hangman Adam Page.

This led to the announcement of Adam Page vs. Wheeler Yuta on the July 23 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Another match for Collision seems set for Anthony Bowens. During a backstage segment, Billy Gunn informed Bowens of the match, though an opponent was not announced.
